Biography of
Stephen A. Pribble


Stephen Pribble has served as pastor of Grace Orthodox Presbyterian Church, Lansing, Michigan, since 1989. He previously pastored in Akron, Ohio.

A graduate of Moody Bible Institute (sacred music), William Tyndale College (pastoral training/Greek) and Ashland Theological Seminary (Hebrew/Old Testament), he was ordained to the gospel ministry by Calvary Baptist Church, Hazel Park, Michigan, in 1978. Later, having come to Reformed convictions, he was received by the Presbytery of the Ascension (PCA) in 1986 and by the Presbytery of the Midwest/Presbytery of Michigan and Ontario in 1989. He chaired the Committee to Prepare Proof Texts for the Larger Catechism and serves on the Committee on Christian Education and Psalter-hymnal Committee. He is website manager for the OPC.

Growing up in Royal Oak, Michigan, he came to faith in Christ as a boy through the influence of godly parents. He and his wife Norma are the parents of four grown children. He has authored or edited a number of publications including Scripture Index to the Westminster Standards (Dallas: Presbyterian Heritage Publications, 1994).
